Between Asylum Road, Leo Street, Gervase Street and Drover's Place. This school has two distinct phases. The main three storey block, with the classroom façade to Leo Street, is in the grand late Bailey manner with a rooftop playground. The S wing is missing. This presents an imposing façade with liberal use of terracotta. The N wing (missing) has been replaced with a modern extension as part of the conversion to housing, which is good in terms of height and form, but the wrong colour. In many ways more interesting is the single storey 1900 block facing Asylum road (now numbers 71 to 77A Asylum Road). This is an attractive and forward looking piece of work in a mild art nouveau manner with stylish use of terracotta dressings around the entrances, with an Edwardian air.
